Gareth showed off his prize personal registration plate GOT 1 at the annual Registration Numbers Club rally, at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire on Sunday.
Gareth was one of around 60 cars that came to show off their choice of personalised registration plates.
In between the showers, there was much discussion and voting for the most liked registration numbers. Of course, there were names and initials, but hobby and job related registrations too. And some just had a lot of history. As many different stories as there were cars.
The Registration Numbers Club is a UK club, for lovers of personal number plates. It was started in 1977, when there was a bit of a crisis in the world of uk cherished number plates due to many transfers being refused by the DVLA. Today the club is still run by volunteers, encouraging members to share the enjoyment of owning personal number plates, and keeping them up to date with developments as and when they happen.
