What if I don't have a car? Can I still buy a private number plate?
Yes you can. But not always. You can secure the registration number ahead of having a car to transfer it to. However, in some situations this may not be possible.
If the registration number is on a Certificate in the name of another client, we will require your vehicle documents within 3 weeks of purchase. Many of the cheapest number plates (usually under £99) also require vehicle documents within 3 weeks.
