I have V5C log book but no car. Can I still sell the number plate?
No. Once the vehicle has been scrapped or dismantled it no longer qualifies for number plate transfer.
Having the V5C Registration Document (log book) alone does not give you entitlement to the registration number. Please note that the DVLA will most likely request to inspect the vehicle should you make an application to retain the registration number.
