What happens when my number plate has been sold?
Managed Service
If you are using our no-sale-no-fee Managed Service or you've asked us to manage the sale on your behalf, we will advise you according the specific circumstances of the sale. We will ask for your vehicle documents / Retention Document / Certificate of Entitlement (whichever is applicable). Leave all the paperwork to us – we will take care of this for you.
Self Service
If you are advertising private number plates for sale using our Self-Service option, you can take advantage of our managed number plate transfer service. Alternatively, you can liase with your buyer direct, and make the appropriate arrangements directly with them. There's lots of information on our website to help you along the way.
